Greenbaum officiated.
The bride is the daughter
of Mrs. Leslie Davison of
West Bloomfield. Parents of
the bridegroom are Mr. and
Mrs. Milton Handelman,
also of West Bloomfield.
Ilene Litt was the maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were
Susan Targum and Anita
Handelman. Paul Handel-
man was his brother's best
man. Ushers were Robert
Davidson of New York,
brother of the bride, and
Richard Dresser.

Woodstock, N.Y. The new
Mrs. Rose was graduated
from the University of
California at Berkeley. Her
husband was graduated
from k'rinceton, Oxford and
Harvard Universities. The
couple is residing in Santa
Barbara, Calif.

MDA Humanitarian Award
Presented to Mrs. Jalan

Dorothy Sklar Jalan re-
cently became founder-
patron of the new Magen
David Adorn Israel Na-
tional Blood Center and was
presented a humanitarian
award for "her lasting in-
volvement in the future and
the well-being of that na-
tion through the humanita-
rian efforts of Magen David
Adorn."
This new center, a proj-
ected $10,000,000 complex,
will include a fully equipped
blood donor center, scien-
tific laboratories for exten-
sive research in hematol-
ogy, a communications and
computer center to upgrade
and facilitate the collection
and distribution of blood to
hospitals and first aid sta-
tions throughout Israel. .
The new Blood Bank and
Fractionation Center will
enable Magen David Adorn,
Israel's Emergency Health
Service, to expand and mod-
ernize its services.
Mrs. Jalan -remains
active in numerous
philanthropic and com-
munity projects. She is a
life member of CARIH,
Hadassah, Bnai Brith
and Zedakah Club and
has held offices in these
organizations.

teers are currently serving:
Sinai Hospital, Fresh Air
Society, Jewish Community
Center and at JVS-CW.
New volunteer jobs are
available at both locations
of the Jewish Home for
Aged and at the Jewish
.Community Council,
Jewish Welfare Federation
and at the American Red
Cross.
