Latin Day School Movement Gets Boost

WASHINGTON (JTA) —
The World Bank announced
approval of a loan of $75
million to Egypt to help fi-
nance the foreign exchange
cost of the Gulf of Suez gas
project.

Hebrew Day Schools, vis-
ited Brazil, Guatemala,
Panama, Mexico, Colombia
and Venezuela.

According to Shulman,
there is a new Hebrew
day school in Panama
City with an enrollment
of 60 children. This new
educational institution
came about as a result of
Torah Umesorah's prior
efforts in Panama known
as SEED (Summer Edu-
cational Environmental
Development).
He also reported that in
Mexico City there is a post-
graduate theological semi-
nary (known as a Kollel).

Israel has administered
the occupied areas with a
policy of "non-presence and
non-interference." This

practice is an effort to show
the Arabs that they have
nothing to fear from their
Jewish neighbors.
