THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS 44 Friday, June 22, 1919 Jewry on the Air Rose Family Expands Its Israel Grove for Their Parents' 50th Anniversary A woodland of trees has been planted under the au- spices of the Jewish Na- tional Fund in_ honor of Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Blanche) Rose by their children, gradchildren and great- grandson. The additional 500 trees to make it a woodland are planted in honor of their golden wedding anniver- sary. The Roses have resi- dences in Southfield, and in Hallandale, Fla. They were married on June 9, 1929, in Kossowever, Poland. Their honeymoon trip took them to Warsaw, Paris, New York and home to Detroit where they have resided singe. They were among the founders of the Kossowever Relief Society, which aided survivors of the Holocaust This Week's Radio and Television Programs THE ROSES from their shtetl and are active in it to this day. Rose is a member of Pisgah Lodge of Bnai Brith and Mrs. Rose is an active member and past president of Club Two, Pioneer Women. She also is past treasurer of the Detroit Council of Pioneer Women and a member of the Rafel- son Auxiliary of Jewish War Veterans.
