ceremony in New Jersey.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mat-
zura of New Jersey. Parents
of the bridegroom are Mr.

of Southfield. The couple is
living in Madison Heights.

dained a rabbi by Hebrew
Union College-Jewish In-
stitute of Religion at ordi-
nation services of its New
York School in New York's
Temple Emanu-El on Sun-
day.
Mrs. Magidson became
the first Michigan woman to
be ordained a rabbi by the
college. She has won a
number of awards "for out-
standing scholarship" at the
college, including the Ale-
xander Kohut Prize in Tal-
mud and the Stephen S.
Wise Prize.

of Southfield, was recently
awarded his MD degree by
the Wayne State University
