Michigan ORT Honor Roll Lunch at Sheraton-Southfield

Dr. Stanley Kirschner,
professor of chemistry at
Wayne State University,
was one of six faculty mem-
bers who received the
President's Award for Ex-
cellence in Teaching at a
university recognition pro-
gram and reception.
Dr. Kirschner, who joined
the chemistry faculty in
1954, has been a visiting
professor at universities in
England, Brazil, Romania,
Italy and Japan.
He has received numer-
ous awards for his work in
chemistry and for his pro-
motion of science. In 1964,
he received the Distin-
guished Alumnus Award
from Brooklyn College. He
is the author of two books,
co-author of others, and has
written more than 64 arti-
cles for professional jour-
nals.
