Flint BB Women Receive Award Flint Chapter, Bnai Brith Women, was given an award for community serv- ice at the annual Midwegt Region conference. The chapter was cited for its book project for prisons in Michigan. The award, presented in May, was in recognition "of outstanding contributions to the spirit and meaning of Bnai Brith Women" by coordinating the "Best On- going Project." The chapter donated books to state prisons at Jackson and Marquette, Kinross Correctional Facility and Ionia Riverside Facility. Additional books of Jewish content and written in English are still needed, according to co-chairmen Rita Persky and Rose Rubenstein.
