OTTAWA (JTA) — Gov-
ernment sources confirmed
this week that the state- •
owned airline, Air Canada,
has signed a contract with
Saudi Arabia for the
maintenance of Saudi air-
craft that includes a clause
barring the employment of
Israeli nationals for such
maintenance work.
An Air Canada spokes-
man said that before sign-
ing the contract, the carrier
checked it with Canada's
Ministry for External Af-
fairs, which did not find
anything at variance with
present Canadian legisla-
tion aimed against the Arab
boycott of Israel.
