Evelyn Krieger, a
sophomore at New York
University, was honored
with the publication of four
of her poems in the Weins-
tein Poetry Review, a liter-
ary publication of the uni-
versity. Miss Krieger's
brother, Douglas, a senior
at Southfield-Lathrup High
School received an honors
English award and a schol-
arship to Central Michigan
University. They are the
children of Mr. and Mrs.
Byron Krieger of South-
field.

Ronald Segall will con-
tinue a family tradition
when he graduates Thurs-
day from the United He-
brew Schools High School.
All five of the children of
Mr. and Mrs. Solomon
(Sylvia) Segall of West
Bloomfield have attended
the United Hebrew Schools
and were graduated from its
high school. In 1964, son
Mark was graduated from
the high school and in 1967,
Marcia was graduated
from the Midrasha-College
of Jewish Studies. Son Neil
was graduated from the
high school in 1967, when
his brother Steven was
graduated from the elemen-
tary school.

Bonds. Gen. Sharoni has a
major responsibility for
planning Israel's military
redeployment from the
Sinai to the Negev in ac-
cordance with the terms of
the Egypt-Israel Peace
Treaty.
Gen. Sharoni was for-
merly assistant head of
General Staff department
operations. He was ap-
pointed brigadier general in
1972 and served as head
staff officer for Israel's
Southern Command and
then as head artillery offi-
cer for the Israel Defense
Forces.
