Maxwell Shaye, whose
paintings now adorn many
public buildings and a score
of hospitals, this week pre-
sented four of his paintings
to the two Haverim homes
operated by the Association
for Jewish Retarded.
"Moonlight Sonata,"
"Sentinel,'," "Seashore Ves-

are the titles of the four
paintings
Fully framed and ready
for hanging, the presenta-
tion by Shaye received an
expression of gratitude from
Mrs. Sharon Alterman,
president of the Association
for Jewish Retarded.
Of the 3,200 paintings
by Shaye now in public
buildings and private
homes, 2,000 adorn
rooms in local hospitals.
The presentation of his

art works to hospitals
began with a large gift to
Sinai Hospital.
Shaye's art works are in
homes of prominent Is-
raelis, including former
Prime Minister Yitzhak
Rabin.
The eminent artist is
especially proud of the
acclaim he received upon
the presentation and the
hanging of four of his paint-
ings in the Magen David
Adom First Aid Center in
Ashdod, Israel. The
acknowledgment of that gift
is among the cherished
documents retained by
Shaye. It stated:
