JNF Cites Youth
in Jewish Schools

Graduates of Jewish day
schools, Sunday schools and
afternoon United Hebrew
Schools and all confirmands
and consecrants will be
honored by the Jewish Na-
tional Fund, by the planting
of trees in their names, it
was announced by Carmi M.
Slomovitz, president of the
Greater Detroit JNF Coun-
cil, and ,Percy Kaplan,
executive director.
The trees will be planted
in the Children's Forest in
the Galilee in Israel. Cer-
tificates attesting to the
planting will be sent to the
schools, synagogues and
temples as a gift from JNF
and they will be presented
at the appropriate cere-
monies marking the occa-
sion.
All schools and other reli-
gious institutions are asked
to send their lists to JNF,
