After the establishment
of the state of Israel, he
served as senior engineer
and adviser to the Israeli
Navy. He also served a
long career in the U.S.
Navy, as a frogman and
as a destroyer chief

engineering officer.
He is a recipient of Is-
rael's "Flame of Menora"
medal.

Israel is being urged as a
special Mother's Day trib-
ute by the Jewish National
Fund of Greater Detroit. A
special Mother's Day cer-
tificate will be mailed to the
woman honored with the
tree planting.

for persons who wish to buy

McHale's Navy and for his
work in TV commercials.
