Kaufman, was national chairman of the observance. Mrs. Kaufman sent thousands of letters during the past year to judges, law schools and state bar asso- ciations promoting obser- vance of Law Day. Mrs. Kaufman was selected chairman by'the American Bar Association and the National Lawyers' Wives. She was Michigan Law Day chairman three years ago.
