Luncheon Theater a Feature of Federation Women's Division Meeting

The social hall of Adat
Shalom Synagogue will be
transformed into a lunch-
eon theater noon May 16 as
'the Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion Women's Division pre-
sents "You Did It'," an orig-
inal musical production, at
its 33rd annual meeting.
The program, which hon-
ors the accomplishments of
Women's Division workers,
was written by Josephine
directed by Maida
cnoy and produced and
;-‘_ narrated by Janet Levine.
In the cast are Doris
r August, Geri Levit, Janet
Pont, Maida Portnoy and
Lois Spector. Lois Novitz is
piano accompanist.
Also on the program
will be the annual report
of division President
Dulcie Rosenfeld, a re-
port on the division's
work for the Allied
Jewish Campaign-Israel
Emergency Fund from
Campaign .

Federation Women's Unit
Announces New Director

Barbara Satinsky has
been appointed assistant di-
rector of the Allied Jewish
Campaign-Israel Emer-
gency Fund and director of
the Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion Women's Division, it
was announced by Sol
Drachler, Federation
executive director.

Ms. Satinsky is formerly
director of the Women's Di-
vision for the Jewish Feder-
ation of Palm Beach, Fla.
A native of Philadelphia,
Ms. Satinsky earned BS and
M.Ed. degrees at Temple
University. She joined the
professional staff of the
Federation of Jewish Agen-
cies of Greater Philadelphia
in 1972 as a fund raiser. In
1975 she was appointed di-
rector of Philadelphia's
Young Adult Division, de-
veloping programs and
executing a campaign for
young professionals, stu-
dents and youth groups. She
was responsible for
Philadelphia's Overseas
Mission Program and was
one of the organizers of the
United Jewish Appeal
KOACH Mission.

Torah Fund culminating
dinner 6:30 p.m. May 15 in

Eggplant
Casserole

Meatless meals are gain-
ing in popularity. Serve this
eggplant dish with a baked
potato and tossed salad.
1 medium eggplant (peeled)

1 medium onion
3 jumbo eggs
3 slices Swiss cheese

Cut eggplant and onion into
thin rounds. Lightly brown
eggplant and onion in oil.
Grease a casserole dish
lightly; add eggplant and
onion to casserole. Beat the
eggs, then dice the cheese and
add to eggs. Pour over veget-
ables. Bake at 350 degrees 20
to 30 minutes. Serve im-
mediately.
