hatred" as well as "indif-
ference and silence" and
called upon the Senate to
ratify the United Nations'
genocide convention. • -
The President's remarks
were made in a ceremony in
the rotunda of the Capitol in
the first official ceremony
there to memorialize the six
million Jews and five mil-
lion non-Jews killed by the
Nazis during World War II.
Attending the ceremony
were members of the House
