Crafts Division of the Allied
Jewish Campaign, and is a
member of the board of gov-
ernors of Federation.
At the 25th annual meet-
ing of Sinai hospital, he was
recognized "for his out-
standing leadership as
president of the Shapero
School of Nursing" for four
years. He has been a board
member of the Jewish
Community Center, the
Anti-Defamation League of
Bnai Brith and the Detroit
Service Group. Aronsson
also was a trustee and vice
president of Temple Beth El
and president of the Temple
Players.
He has served as the
division chairman for
Junior Achievement of
Southeastern Michigan
and corporate gift
chairman of the United
Negro College Fund.
Long active in the United
Foundation, Aronsson
was division chairman of
the advance gifts com-
mittee as well as the di-
vision chairman of the
printers and lithog-
raphers section of the
Torch Drive.

He was elected a trustee
of the Babson College
Alumni Association. He
was graduateckmagna cum
laude in business adminis-
tration. He also was a
member of the Babson Corp.
He is a director of the City
National Bank of Detroit
and Northern States Bank
Corp.
Aronsson was president
of the Franklin Hills Coun-
try Club and the Standard
Club of Detroit. His mem-
berships include: The
Hundred Club, Detroit
Club, Adcraft Club, Eco-
nomic Club, Graphics Arts
Guild, Detroit Swedish
Council and The American
Institute of Banking.
He is chairman of the
Aronsson Printing Co., the
60-year-old firm founded by
his late father, Maurice
Aronsson.

and Jesse Michael
Koenigsberg were married
in a recent ceremony at
Temple Beth El. The bride
is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Bertram C. Abrams of
West Bloomfield. Parents of
the bridegroom are Mr. and
Mrs. Emanuel Koenigsberg
of Southfield. Maid of honor
was Marilyn Hartigan.
Sharon 'Fine was the
bridesmaid. Best man was
Dan Stotter of Columbus,
Ohio. Terry Eric Abrams
was the usher. The couple is
residing in Little Rock, Ark.

Four Detroiters have been chosen to serve on the
United Jewish Appeal's National Campaign Polic,
Board, a new body which replaces UJA's executive
committee. They are, from left: Dr. Leon Fill, PhiNp
Stollman, Joel D. Tauber and Barry Yaker. Members

MRS. GRUENBERG

Deanne Ginns became
the bride of Harry Gruen-
berg in a recent ceremony at
Cong. Bnai David. Rabbi
Morton Yolkut and Cantor
Hyman J. Adler officiated.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Ginns of Southfield. Par-
ents of the bridegroom are
Mr. and Mrs. Erich Gruen-
berg, also of Southfield.
Cheryl Ginns was her sis-
ter's maid of honor. Brides-
maids were Barbara Ginns
and Linda Zacks, sisters of
the bride, and Paula
Gruenberg.
John Gruenberg was
his brother's best man.
Ushers were Joel Zacks,
Larry Cohen and David
Rosenberg.
The bride's grandmother,
Mrs. Diana Ginsberg, also
participated in the cere-
mony.
The new Mrs. Gruenberg
was graduated from Michi-
gan State University's
nursing school. Her hus-
band was graduated from
Wayne State University's
pharmacy school.
Following a honeymoon
in Acapulco, the couple will
live in West Bloomfield.

Long time Detroit resi-
dent, Mrs Adolph (Erzsi)
Deutsch, reaches a
chronological milestone on
April 22 when she celeb-
rates her 90th birthday. At
her present home in Miami
Beach, Fla., she maintains
an active interest in her
family and life in general.
Born in Mezocsat, a small
farming village on the
plains of Hungary, Mrs.
Deutsch emigrated to
Cleveland, Ohio, in 1908.
She married Hugo Nagy
and moved to Dallas, Texas.
The couple resided in
Shreveport, La., for many
years until Mr. Nagy's
'death. During this period of
her life, Erzsi experienced
firsthand the tragic Galves-
ton flood and the political
ascent of Huey Long.
Shortly thereafter she
met and subsequently wed
Adolph Deutsch, who had
also recently been widowed.
A recognized leader of the
Detroit Jewish community,

Workmen's Circle
to Conduct Seder

Workmen's Circle of
Michigan will conduct its
third annual Seder 2 p.m.
Sunday at the Workmen's
Circle Center, 26341
Coolidge, Oak Park.
The special Haggada was
written by the Shifrin fam-
ily and will be conducted by
Ed Shifrin. •
Children in the Work-
men's Circle Sunday School,
under the direction of
Esther Freeman, will lead
in the singing of Passover
songs. Toma Schwartz will
provide the piano accom-
paniment.
The symbolism of tra-
ditional foods and prac-
tices will be explained.
Holiday refreshments
will be served. There is a
small charge for adults.
Children will be admitted
free of charge.

MRS. DEUTSCH

Mr. Deutsch was a co-
founder of Cong. Bnai
Moshe in Oak Park anti
American Federal Savings
and Loan Association,
among other accom-
plishments. Mr. Deutsch'
died in 1968.
For more than 30 years,
Mrs. Deutsch has served
as wife, mother,
grandmother and great-
grandmother to the
Deutsch family. The el-
dest of four generation
of Deutsches, "Erzsi._
Neni," as she is affection-
ately known, has
great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Deutsch has alway
endeavored to relate her
unique perspective on th
history of the Jewish people
to her family and friend
She has emphasized pride in
the ancient Jewish "coat of
arms, the Star of David."
Her "simha" will be cele-
brated by her family and
friends in Miami Beach!
Fla., on April 22. Attending,
will be her niece, Mrs. Al-
bert (Magda) Mayer; 1,13-
sons, Alfred and Charles;
their wives, children and
grandchildrdn as well as
numerous friends.
