Center Production of `Tevye'
Among Forthcoming Activities

Harper Given Prentis Grant

The Meyer and Anna
Prentis Family Foundation
has given a major grant to
Harper-Grace Hospitals to
purchase equipment for the
Department of
Neurosurgery.
The Prentis family has
funded a number of major
projects in the Detroit Med-
ical Center. The Michigan
Cancer Foundation head-
quarters is named for Mr.
Prentis and the Wayne
State University medical
research building was
named after the late Helen

Prentis, treasurer of Gen-
eral Motors Corp. for 32
years, was a trustee of Tem-
ple Beth El and a member of
the board Of the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation.
Mr. Prentis died in 1970.

roles of Tevye and Golde, re-

Stage production of "Tevye
and His Daughters" slated

ter of the main Jewish
Community Center.
