W. Bloomfield 855 - 9700 See Bruce Litvin for your transportation needs Acting in response to complaints by students at Wayrie State University, the Jewish Community Council contacted the deans of WSU Law School and the University of Detroit Law School to inform them that publicity for a symposium entitled "The Sami Esmail Affair — Nightmare in the Holy Land" gave the im- pression that the program was being sponsored by the schools. The deans of both schools denied any partici- pation or sponsorship. Alvin Kushner, executive director of the council, said it was learned that the sponsors were apparently the International Law Societies of the two law schools and in neither case was the law school itself in- volved. The council has suggested that guidelines be estab- lished at the schools for organizational publicity so that this type of misleading information will not be re- peated.
