Guest speaker was James Marston Fitch, professor of architecture emeritus and director emeritus of the graduate program in histor- ical preservation at Colum- bia University. Dr. Fitch spoke on "The Cultural Management of the Built World." . The Wallenberg Lec- tures were instituted in 1971 in tribute to U-M graduate Raoul Wallen- berg, who - saved thousands of Jews in Budapest at the end of World War II by issuing false documents and providing 32 apartment buildings under the Swedish flag as safe houses. The Soviet Union claims that Wallenberg died after the war in a Soviet prison but many believe he is still alive. An international movement has been started to pressure the Russians to release information about him. The expectation of the wicked is wrath.
