The Best of Everything

WHEN TALKING about
a lavish seafood buffet, one
normally and rightfully
thinks of a large restaurant
or one that has a select
clientele.
Whoever would think of a
coffee shop as having a very
fine seafood buffet?
But then again, Coffee
Garden at Michigan Inn on
J.L. Hudson Dr. isn't just an
ordinary coffee shop .. .
rather bordering on the
choice epicurean level.
The seafood buffet at
Coffee Garden in Michi-
gan Inn is every Friday
night and probably one
of the best anywhere in
town ... For $8.75 a per-
son can eat all the expen-
sive delights they want
without anybody looking
to see how many times .. .
The selection is so huge
that a normal dinner
would demand a few
trips.
Executive Chef Richard
Boyd sets up the seafood
buffet about 4 p.m. to be
ready by six . . . (Saturday
night is Prime Rib Buffet
and Sunday is brunet .' time.)
There are appetizers,
soup, rolls, relishes, eight
salads, fresh fruit, nine hot
items, molds, desserts, etc.
I had another wonderful
waitress there . . . Ellen
McAuley . . . so sweet, very
pleasant, ever smiling .. .
very courteous, efficient
