Mr. and Mrs. Burton Shifman, center, and daugh-

dedication of the David A. Shifman Memorial Forest
of 10,000 trees, located at Givat Koah, Israel. The for-
est, established under the auspices of the Jewish Na-
tional Fund, honors their late son and brother who
died at age 20. He was an honor student at Haverford
College and had made several trips to Israel, worked
on a kibutz and considered making aliya.

nominating committee for

council, the committee in-
cludes Ida Rosenblum,

Gubow, Mrs. Bernard Lin-
derman, Sanford Rosenthal
and Martin Weston.
To aid the committee in
its work, the community
is requested to submit
names of individuals for
consideration for terms
on the council's executive
committee and nomina-
