physicians will participate
in the 11th world assembly
of the Israel Medical Asso-
ciation in cooperation with
the International Health
Society, which will be held
in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem
May 20-25.
The theme of the confer-
ence will be "Progress in
Medicine — The Influence
of the Socio-Economic and
Cultural Environment on
the Morbidity and Mortal-
ity in the Different Ethnic
roups in Israel/The First
0 Years."
Physicians from all over
the world,as well as from Is-
rael will lecture- at this in-
ternational event. Partici-
pants will also be able to
visit local hospitals. The
program meets the criteria
for 20 hours of category 1
credit for the Physician's
Recognition Award of the
American Medical Associa-
tion and 20 hours of
prescribed credit of the
American Academy of Fam-
ily Practice.

Stone, Pa., the summer
camp operated under the
auspices of Bnei Akiva-
Young Israel of Cleveland,
has adopted the theme of
"Jews of the Soviet Union"
for its program this year.
The camp will recreate
many of the events and con-
ditions which characterize
Soviet Jewish life today - a
Siberian prison camp, the
"doctors' trial," and the un-
derground learning of He-
brew, for example, in order
to give the campers a feeling
of the resurrected spirit of
Soviet Jewry despite more
than 60 years of Communist
rule.
In addition to a general
theme, Camp Stone offers a
full range of recreational
and traditional camping ac-
tivities, all conducted in a
religious Zionist atmos-
phere.
