terhood; Purity Chapter,
Order of the Eastern Star;
and District 6, Metropolitan
Detroit Bnai Brith Women's
Council. She also was a past
president of Louis Marshall
Chapter of Bnai Brith
Women (1946). Mrs. Fields
resided at 25139 Parsons,
Southfield.
She leaves a son, Earl; a
daughter, Mrs. Richard
(Judy) Zatkin; a brother,
Mark Fischer; and five
grandchildren.

Ira Kaufman Chapel for
Clara Frank, a leading per-
sonality in local women's
ranks.
Mrs. Frank had the dis-
tinction of having served as
president of Metropolitan
Hadassah for three terms
and of the Women's Divi-
sion of the Jewish Welfare __
Federation. In the latter
capacity she was among the
most active leaders in Al-
lied Jewish Campaigns.
Her record of activities
includes leadership in the
Zionist Emergency Council
which directed Zionist ap-
peals to American leaders
in pre-Israel years.
She was deeply interested
in education and was active
