Oakland Century . Lodge
of Bnai Brith has made av-
ailable a $500 scholarship
to be presented March 13.
Requirements to apply for
the scholarship include:
• The applicant must be
a Jewish student who has
roots in the Detroit area,
• The applicant must
have superior scholarship,
• The applicant must
demonstrate financial need
and
• The applicant should
show leadership qualities or
potential (campus partici-
pation or community activ-
ity will be considered).
Students should submit
an application setting forth
his or her qualifications on
each point. Application

to Aid Jewish National Fund

Presidents of the Met-
ropolitan Detroit Bnai
Brith Men's and Women's
Councils as well as presi-
dents of the 24 lodges and 25
chapters will be honored at
the 13th annual,Metropoli-
tan Detroit Bnai Brith Pres-
idents Brunch 10 a.m.
March 11 at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek. Tree and tribute
chairmen will receive spe-
cial citations. The brunch
will be held in cooperation
with the Jewish National
Fund.

Belle Ruben, president of
the Women's Council, will
each be honored by the
planting of a garden of 100
