at Darbys in Walled-Lake
with Sherry Jacobson and
Marcy Weisberg . . . "We
went to Darbys and arrived
there at 2 p.m. and Marcy
didn't feel good so ordered
some poached eggs from the
waitress. She told us that
since it was 2 p.m. the cook
would not make eggs on the
grill. I said to myself there is
no delicatessen in the world
that cooks poached eggs on a
grill. They are made with
water. I was then told by the
manager that Darbys
doesn't cook poached eggs
anytime of the day. His wife
came to the table to talk to
Shirley Jacobson and I said,
`You don't have poached
eggs,' and she said it was up
to the cooks what they
wanted to make."

NEW YORK — The
Anti-Defamation League of
Bnai Brith has commended
the National Football
League Management Coun-
cil for transferring its Su-
perbowl Gala Brunch last
Saturday from the "re-
stricted" Indian Creek
Country Club in Miami to a
Miami Beach hotel.
"The Council changed its
arrangements as soon as it
learned from the Anti-
Defamation League that
the Indian Creek Country
Club has membership re-
stricted to white Chris-
tians," Ira Gissen, director
of ADL's national discrimi-
nations department, said.
"The Council is to be
applauded for its swift ac-
tion."
