NEW YORK (JTA) —
Two New York City cler-
gymen, a rabbi and an Epis-
copalian minister, both voi-
ced support for an undivided
Jerusalem at a "Dialogue on
Jerusalem" sponsored by
the Women's Division of the
Zionist - Organization of
America in New York.
The remarks were made
by Rabbi Irving Block of the
Brotherhood Synagouge,
and Rev. Thomas Pike, pas-
tor of the Calvary and St.
George's Churches.
Rabbi Block expressed his
fear that the United States
government was using a
double standard in making
its judgements on
Jerusalem. He asked why
Administration spokesmen
considered East Jerusalem
"occupied Arab territory"
now, "though they were si-
lent between 1948 and 1967
when the area was ruled by
Jordan." He insisted, "The
city of Jerusalem has been
Jewish for thousands of
years and must remain
Jewish."

Statue to Heroine

AMSTERDAM (JTA) —
A statue of the late Geer-
truida Wijsmuller who was
known as "Aunt Truus," the
non-Jewish Dutch woman
who saved thousands of
Jewish children by getting
them out of Nazi Germany
and Nazi-occupied Austria,
will be unveiled at Bach
Square in Amsterdam on
Monday.

Katz's department is pre-
sently preparing for the ar-
rival in three weeks of 1,400
Jewish youth from Latin
America who will partici-
pate in "Operation
Oranges" during their
two-month summer vaca-
tion. The youths will tour
the country, spend time at
kibutzim, and be hosted at
Israeli homes in the main
cities.

WZO's Youth and
Hechalutz Department,
said the distinction between
"Zionists" and "non-
Zionists" affiliated respec-
tively with the Zionist
movement and the Jewish
Agency is no longer relev-
ant. "There are Zionists who
don't intend to come on
aliya but busy themselves
with local Zionist politics,
and there are non-Zionists
who are active fund-raisers
and plan aliya,"__he said.
In place of such distinc-
tions, Katz will propose
formation of a new "Bilu"
movement for those plan-
ning to immigrate to Israel,
and revival of the "Hovevei
Zion" movement for those
who want to help Israel
even though they aren't
planning aliya.
