shop (JVS-CW) announces
applications are being
taken for Project JOIN
(Jewish Occupational
Interns).
students
University
selected for Project JOIN
will be placed as summer
interns in several Jewish
communal agencies
throughottit the metropoli-
tan Detroit area. The 10-
week internships may be in
the areas of social work,
teaching, health profes-
sions, program develop-
ment or other agency con-
cerns.
Interns also participate in
a weekly educational pro-
gram concentrating-on the
structure of the Jewish
community. Interns will be
paid a tax-free stipend.
This is the sixth year of
operation for this special
program, which is
funded by the Jewish
Welfare Federation.
Some of the cooperating
agencies providing in-
ternships are the Jewish
Family Service, Jewish
Vocational Service and
