Branch Will Meet

The Women's League For
Conservative Judaism will
hold its branch board meet-
ing 11 a.m. Dec. 4 at the
Livonia Jewish Congrega-
tion, 31840 W. Seven Mile,
sponsored by the synagogue
sisterhood.

The program will be a
multi-media presentation
from the bi-annual national
convention. The meeting is

cording to immigration
authorities, 155,000 Soviet
Jews have left Russia since
1968. Some 125,000 have
gone to Israel, 23,000 to the
U.S., 4,000 to Canada and
the remainder to Australia,
New Zealand and Europe.

can living in Israel who is
involved in many aspects in
Israeli life, will speak 7:30
p.m. Dec. 3 at the main
Jewish Community Center.
Ms. Kopp, now of Maalot,
will speak on how she suc-
ceeded in Israel and her role
in increasing the population
of the Galilee.
She has been affiliated
with the Israel Ministry
of Tourism, El Al Israel

on Her Resettlement Role

Mrs. Rose Minc of Oak
Park said that she testified
in the Maidanek Nazi camp
guard trials in Dusseldorf
recently, contrary to a
statement in last week's
Jewish News.
Mrs. Minc said the court
was unable to hear her full
statement and she was
asked to return to Germany
in February to complete her
testimony.
