Boris Brant, violinist and concertmaster of the Battle Creek Symphony Or- chestra, will be presented. A native of Odessa, Russia, he emigrated to the United States in February .1976. Graduating with honors om the Odessa Music )ademy, he continued his #iolin studies with the famed David Oistrakh and Peter Stolarsky. He was professor of violin in the Soviet Union for 25 years major Soviet cities and on radio and television. He has taught many outstanding violinists, including mem- bers - of the Soviet Union's great orchestras and win- ners of international competitions, and has been decorated by the Soviet Minister of Culture. Pianist Judith Allgood, a graduate of the Univer- sity of Michigan, will as- sist Brant. Mrs. Angood is a performer, teacher, and accompanist in Battle Creek, where she resides.
