Married in Detroit in 1928 by Rabbi Joseph Eisenman, the couple has been active in Jewish com- munal affairs. Aside from his plate glass industry, Gottlieb was active in Bnai Brith, serving as president of Louis Marshall Lodge from 1958 to 1959. He is a recipient of Bnai Brith's Award of Merit.
