Shaarey Zedek will open its annual Town Hall series, "Town Hall Faces 1978-1979" 10 a.m. Wed- nesday in the synagogue. Breakfast will precede the lecture. - Guest speaker will be author and lecturer Dr. Marshall Goldberg, head of the department of medicine at the Hurley Medical Cen- ter in Flint and professor of medicine. at Michigan State University. Dr. Goldberg helped write the script and was medical adviser for a two-part, four-hour mini-series, based on his book "Critical List" recently seen on NBC-TV. Author of three other books, Dr. Goldberg was a fellow • in endocrinology at St. Vin- cent's Hospital in Worces- ter, Mass., and at the Uni- versity of Wisconsin Medi- cal School. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, a fellow of the American College of Physicians and received the NAACP Humanitarian Award. Kramer, a six-year veteran of the Michigan House of Repre- sentatives and presently a special assistant attorney general, is a candidate for circuit judge of Oakland County. Kramer is a graduate of Wayne State University and has been a practicing attorney for 29 years. In addition to being a special assistant attorney general, he is presently legal counsel for the Michigan House of Representatives, Commit- tee on Insurance, and serves as an arbitrator, appointed by the American Arbitra- tion Association. Kramer is serving his third elected term as a member of the Representa- tive Assembly of the State Bar of Michigan. He has also served as a public member of the executive managing board of directors of Blue Shield of Michigan, and as a member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Planning Committee of Metro Detroit.
