DeGuiringaud Pressured for Israel Comment PARIS (JTA) — French , Foreign Minister Louis de Guiringaud is expected to resign before the end of the year and be replaced by the Elysee Palace Secretary General Jean Francois- Poncet. De Guiringaud has been at the center of a polit- ical storm after he told a press conference last week that Israel and the Lebanese Christians were responsible for the blood bath in Lebanon. French political sources stress, however, that President Valery Giscard d'Estaing's decision to re- place him is not connected with the wave of nationwide protests his statement had raised. Observors believe de Guiringaud made his statement with the full General Says knowledge of Giscard, whose aim was to defuse the UN Mistaken Lebanese situation by On Kidnapping clearly notifying the Chris- tians that they can expect JERUSALEM (JTA) — no help from France and The overall commander of that the chances of foreign UN forces in the Mideast, interventions are nil.
