Skokie Decision Editor, The Jewish News: The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to hear the offi- cials of Skokie, Ill., pertain- ing to the yielding of Jewish rights in Skokie. This is a blow to American justice. When we see a group of Nazis in uniform marching in the street, it is "not" a parade, but a demonstra- tion showing their strength here in America. The thousands of Jews living in Skokie, Ill., who escaped Hitler's onslaught, will eventually find that such parades will lead to violence. It stands to reason that with the Supreme Court re- fusal, Jews will find them- selves taking action into their own hands. With Six Million Jews sacrificed in World War II, now is the time to stop such recurrences.
