Bnai Brith Women to Honor Sadie Cohn at Gifts Lunch
Israel Bond Citation for
leadership from Israel
Bonds. The Cohns have es-
tablished the Sadie and
Irwin I. Cohn Hall at the
Hillel Foundation at. Wayne
State. University, the
synagogue in the Hillel
Foundation at the Univer-
sity of Michigan and a
building for the United He-
brew Schools.
In Israel, the Cohns
have received matiy hon-
ors and citations. A forest
has been dedicated in
their names and a special
honor, that of master
builders, was conferred
upon them by the
Yeshiva University.
Bnai Brith Women's
Council of Metropolitan De-
troit will hold a special gifts
luncheon Nov. 9 at the
Tam-O-Shaiiter Country
Club. President-elect Sylvia
Ross, chairman of the
luncheon, announces that
Sadie Cohn will be the hon-
oree.
Mrs. Cohn, along with her
husband, Irwin, has been
involved in many Jewish
causes.
She is a life member of
many organizations and has
received the Woman of
Valor Award and the first
