Morris Aron Birndorf, re-
tired owner of Birndorfs
Boot Shop in Detroit, died
Oct. 1 at age 90.
Born in Austria, Mr.
Birndorf lived 59 years in
Detroit. He was in the retail
shoe business for 42 years
when he closed his business
in 1963.
Mr. Birndorf was a life
member of Perfection Lodge
of the Masons, a charter
member of Adat Shalom
Synagogue, a member of
Zager-Stone Lodge of Bnai
Brith and the Zionist
Organization of America.
He leaves his wife, Ruth;
two sons, Dr. Leonard and
Fred; six grandchildren and
two great-granchildren.
