You know who I bumped
into? , My old friend,
Shmooel. He was all ex-
cited. He was holding a
newspaper in his hand. "Did
you read about Golda?" he
asked. _
"What about Golda?" I
said.
"You can eat her," he
said, "she's a soup now."
"What are you talking
about?" I said.
"Listen, he said, "When
Golda recently was in
America, she was inter-
viewed on television and
among the questions asked
her was, what is your favo-
rite dish. She answered that
there is a certain Jewish
soup which she likes above
all. Well, after that, the
television company re-
ceived thousands of queries
asking Golda for the recipe
of this soup and now a com-
pany is going to produce this
soup for the market and call
it Golda." •

other people," he said.
