ning's entertainment .. .
Next day, they reverse
schedules.
So folks who come early
and stay late can hear both
pianists ... The felt-
lettered burlap sign hang-
ing by the pianoi informs
them as to which Bob is
playing.
Milne, a prolific corn
poser With more than 25
ragtime tunes to his cre-
dit, has a music degree
from Oakland Univer-
sity, but not in piano ...
French horn was his spe-
cialty . . . He started play-
ing piano by ear to earn
money while attending
music schools in the East.
In addition to his musical
ability, Milne readily
demonstrates his power of
concentration by playing a
song like "Rosetta" with two
different rhythms . . .
simultaneously . * . For in-
stance, the right hand will
be playing 4/4 time, while
the left is playing 3/4 .. .
Then he'll change one to a
5/4 time and the other to a
6/4 beat.
Changing keys a number
of times during a tune is an-
other skill of Milne's .
Using an old Dixieland
number like "Just A Little
While To Stay Here," he'll
