The roster of speakers for
the 12th national board con-
ference of Women's Ameri-
can ORT, to be held at the
Hyatt Regency Hotel Oct.
29-Nov. 2, will feature a
major address by Mark
Siegel, former deputy assis-
tent to President Jimmy
Carter. Siegel is the politi-
cal scientist who resigned
from the Carter Adminis-
tration because he dis-
agreed with its Middle East
policy.
Reese Feldman, of
Tenafly, N.J., is conference
chairman, and Claire Pyser,
of Monsey, N.Y., conference
co-chairman.
Additional speakers at
the conference, which. will
be attended. by 600 dele-
gates, representing 135,000
members of Women's
American ORT in 1,100
chapters throughout the
U.S., as well as distin-
guished guests from the De-
troit community, will in-
clude_ Dr. William Haber,

Mrs. Feldman said that
"the Dearborn national
board conference of
Women's American ORT
will mark an important
step forward in our
organization's second
half century of service to
the Jewish people. In our
confer _ ence sessions, we
will assess ORT's
worldwide program and
make plans for the future
developments and ex-
pansion of the global
ORT vocational network.
We also will increase our
efforts to promote quality
education in the United
States and to expand the
dynamic new Bramson
ORT Training Center re-
cently established in New
York."
The conference will also
include the 1978-79 pre-
miere of fashions designed
and executed by young ORT
students from Israel,
France and Morocco.
