Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Richman of Grand Blanc
and Mr. and Mrs. Samuel J.
Shuster of Flint celebrated
their 50th wedding an-
niversaries recently.
The Richmans were ten-
dered a dinner at the Coun-
try Squire Restadrant by
their children in honor of
e occasion.
Born in New York City,
Richman married the
former Alice Morris of Paris
in London, England, Sept. 2,
1928.
Now retired, Richman
formerly owned Michi-
gan Beauty Supply until
1942. Following service in
the U.S. Navy, Richman
owned Ray Kerns Beauty
Supply until his retire-
ment in 1973.
The Richmans are the
parents of Morris - - -of
Lexington, Ky., Rita
Magidsohn of Grand Blanc,
Sandra Dunayer of Hol-
lywood, Fla., Diane Ring of
Flint and Marilyn Feiner of
Grand Blanc. They have 12
grandchildren.
- The Shusters celebrated
their 50th anniversary in
New York. They were ten-
dered a dinner by their chil-
dren and grandchildren.
A native of Lithuania,
Shuster married the former
Ruth Simen of Chicago in
Chicago Aug. 18, 1928.

Flint Obituaries
Dr. H. Berman
Dr. Harry Berman, a
medical doctor who had
been practicing in Flint
since 1948, died Sept. 7 at
age 69.
Born in New Jersey, Dr.
Berman lived 30 years in
Flint. He was. graduated
from the Detroit College of
Medicine in 1935 and was a
member of the American
and Genesee County Medi-
cal Associations.
He leaves his wife-, Gol-
die; two sons, Robert of
Charleston, S.C., and Dr. E.
David of Riverview; a
daughter, Mrs. Alan (Nan-
cee) Rubin of Charleston; a
brother, Phillip; three sis-
ters, Mrs. Max (Esther)
Levy of Florida, Mrs. Sam
iane) Sniderman of Ann
bor and Mrs. Jack (Leah)
- delson; and three
grandchildren. Interment
Detroit.
Shuster is stock man-
ager at Irvin Hirsch
Jewelers. Mrs. Shuster
was an accountant at F.
J. Boutell Driveaway for
20 years. She retired in
1974. The couple owned
Buy Rite Supermarket in
Mt. Morris until 1957.
The couple haye three
sons, Ted of Valley Stream,
N.Y., Maj. Jerrold S. of Bed-
ford, Mass., and Dr. Allen of
Worcestershire, Mass. They
have nine grandchildren.
