The group meets weekly to conduct morning services, followed by break- fast and bowling at Ark West Lanes. Trophies will be awarded, and fathers are invited. Amit Leaves Government as DMC Break-Up Finishes JERUSALEM (JTA) — Meir Amit, the minister of transportation and com- munications, resigned from government Wednesday erve as a leader of a new political group that has broken away from the Democratic Movement for Change (DMC). Amit in- formed Premier Menahem Begin of his resignation in a telephone call to Camp David. The new group will be known as Shai — an ac- ronym for Shinooi (change) and Yozma (initiative). ill Under an agreement be- tween Amnon Rubinstein, leader of the dissenters and Deputy Premier Yigael Yadin, the DMC which Yadin founded more than a year ago to be a new force in Israeli politics ceased to exist on Thursday.
