Hud- son, Jr., and William G. Meese have been named general dinner chairmen for the 1978 Bnai Brith Inter- national Humanitarian Award Dinner to take place Nov. 16 at Fairlane Manor. Alan E. Schwartz, attor- ney and community leader, will be honored for "distin- guished and enduring con- tributions of a humanita- rian nature, both profes- sionally and as evidenced by his extraordinary record of civic achievement and in- volvement." Citrin is currently president of the Detroit Jewish Welfare Federation and a member of the board of directors of both Sinai Hospital and the United Foundation. Easlick, a past recipient of the Humanita- rian Award, is president of Michigan Bell Telephone Co., and is involved in the civic affairs of Metropolitan Detroit. Hudson was the first De- troit recipient of the Humanitarian Award in 1970, and has long been a fixture in Detroit civic life. Meese is chairman of De- troit Edison, and last year's Humanitarian Award reci- pient. He also is active in the community.
