ACKERSON

Brian H. Ackerson has
been promoted to the posi-
tion of assistant director of
the Michigan Region, Bnai
Brith Youth Organization.
Ackerson was graduated
in history and education
from Queens College, City
University in New York,
and received his master's
degree in social work from
St. Louis University.
He has served Michigan
BBYO as program director
since March of 1978 and
formerly worked with the
Jewish Community Center
Association in St. Louis.

by the Anti-Defamation
League of Bnai Brith.
The illustrated volume
lists films, filmstrips, tapes,
books, pamphlets, teaching
materials and discussion
guides.
Classified according to
subject areas, "Human Re-
lations Materials for the
School, Church and Com-
munity" includes the fol-
lowing topics: prejudice,
discrimination, minority
group studies, extremism
and politics, anti-Semitism,
Jews, Judaism, Israel,
Jewish-Christian relations,
and the Holocaust. One sec-
tion is devoted exclusively
to teaching strategies and
related materials.
