NEW YORK — Groups of
Christian laypeople, stu-
dents and clergy will con-
vene in Jerusalem for the
Third Jerusalem Confer-
ence of Christians and Is-
' raelis, Jan. 15-29.
In addition to seeing the
sites of the Holy Land, par-
ticipants will study the
modern aspects of Israel
with strong emphasis on in-
teraction with its citizenry.

Judge Alice L. Gilbert has
