JERUSALEM — El Al Is- rael Airlines showed an operating profit of $6.6 mill- ion for the fiscal year 1977/ 78 (which ended in March), before financing expenses, compared with $5.8 million last year. Net profit this year is $10,000 against $280,000 the previous year. These figures were pre- sented by the executive chairman, Mordechai Ben-Ari, and by the presi- dent, Mordechai Hod, at a press conference in Tel Aviv on Aug. 8, when the balance sheet was presented. Fiscal 1977/78 was ex- pected to be one of the most profitable years in the com- pany's history, due to the continuing increase in pas- senger loads which began in 1975. An additional advan- tage to El Al, between November and March, was the uniform rate of ex- change of the dollar, intro- duced by the Israel govern- ment's new financial policies. However, the financial results of the year were adversely affected by disruptions in the opera- tion of the company, through sanctions and strikes by employees. ) * Farmington-31906 Middlebett & 14 Mi. 855.9390 * Ferwingtes-30850 Orchard Lake & 13 Mi. 851-5868 * lioeurfield Twp.-1900 Woodward A Sewn Las 338.4436 1 brust dekel 14 cup ketchup 14 tsp. flour 1 pkg. onion soup mix 6 potatoes, cut in eighths Place pre-roasted meat on a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
