Delta Tau Sorority; and a
member of Hadassah, Na-

Mrs. Briskman leaves her
husband, Charles; a son, Ira
of New York; and a sister,
Lois Payne of Chicago.

inaugurated recently at the
Technion Faculty of Civil
Engineering. It will enable
simulation of problems re-
lated to wind-engineering
in cities, and facilitate
study of pollutants in the
atmosphere.
Dr. Bernard Billes, a
physician in practice in De-
troit for 10 years, died Aug.
12 at age 84.
Born in Austria, Dr. Bil-
les lived 17 years in Detroit.
He was graduated from the
University of Vienna Medi-
cal School in 1921. He was a
member of Cong. Bnai
Moshe and the American
Jewish Congress.
He leaves two sons, Dr.
Eric and Dr. Bruce; and four
grandchildren.
Dr. Freedman, 64
Dr. William J. Freedman,
an optometrist with offices
in Southgate for 25 years
and in Ypsilanti for the past
11 years, died Aug. 14 at age
64.
Born in Detroit, Dr.
Freedman was graduated in
1938 from the Illinois
School of Optometry. He
was a past president of the
Southgate Rotary Club and
a member in Ypsilanti, and
a member of , the
Washtenaw Country Club
and Disabled American
Veterans. He also was a
sailing instructor for youth.
He resided in Ypsilanti.
Dr. Freedman leaves his
wife, M. Patricia; and chil-
dren, Frederick, Mrs.
Stephen (Mary) Keys, Dr.
Joseph Rosin of St.
Petersburg, Fla., and James
Rosin; his mother, Mrs.
Harry (Bertha) Freedman
of Miami Beach Fla.; a
brother, Robert; and two
grandchildren.
Mrs. Levenson
Yetta Levenson, co-owner
of Independent Wallpaper
and Paint on Michigan Av-
enue in Detroit, died Aug.
15 at age 71.
Born in Columbus, Ohio,
Mrs. Levenson was in the
wallpaper and paint busi-
ness for 55 years. She was a
member of the Mezeritcher
Society.
She leaves her husband,
Morris; a son, Cyril; a
daughter, Mrs. Irving

nebaum; two sisters, Mrs.
