Number of Issues

NEW YORK (JTA) —
The Jewish Daily Forward
announced that as of Mon-
day it will publish five days
a week instead of six be-
cause of economic reasons.
The Yiddish-language
newspaper, which now pub-
lishes Sunday through Fri-
day, will drop its Monday
edition.

to be Honored at Reception

Leonard
Edelman,
Wayne County Probate re-
gister, will be honored by
friends, members of the
legal profession, civic, polit-
ical and labor leaders Tues-
day at a reception at the
Radisson Cadillac Hotel.
Edelman, an attorney,
who has been with the Pro-
bate Court for 37 years is a
