SMALL BEQUESTS
BUILD A
STRONG ISRAEL

If the tradition of including the Jewish
National Fund in the Will of every Jew were
invariably jbllowed, sufficient resources would
be accumulated to ensure the future of the
young Jewish State on a sound basis of land
development, social weVare, and justice.

A bequest to the Jewish National Fund
should be as traditional as-having a Blue Box
in ones home.

You may want your bequest to be
dedicated to afforestation, to a tillage. a
Nachlah, to a children's play area. to perpetual
yahrzeit or kaddish, or to some form of
permanent tribute in the no mes of persons
dear to you.

Consult the Foundation for Jewish
National Fund, 27308 Southfield Rd.,
557-6644
They will gladly co-operate with you in
working out plans to meet your special
requirements, in strict privacy.

W. Alexander, 78

N.Y. Federation
Gets State Funds

NEW YORK (JTA) —
Gov. Hugh L. Carey has an-
nounced a state appropria-
tion of $500,000 to the Fed-
eration Employment and
Guidance Service (FEGS) to
provide "support services in
community settings, rather
than in institutions" for the
mentally ill or mentally re-
tarded on Manhattan's
Upper West Side.
The governor noted that
the FEGS, which is a
member of the Federation of
Jewish Philanthropies of
New York, was asked to
participate "because of its
record of working with
chronically disabled and
seriously disadvantaged, its
extensive vocational re-
habilitation network of ser-
vices already in place, and
its capacity to expand those
services to incorporate.this
special group."
