Fran Kravitz to Head Local Bnai Brith Women Region Fran Rosman Kravitz of Birmingham has been named Bnai Brith Women Midwest Regional Director. Ms. Kravitz formerly was coordinator for the single young adult department and administrator of the travel camp program of the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit. She was also coordinator of ex- tension services for the Bnai Brith Hillel Foundation at Wayne State University and a policewoman with the Ann Arbor Police Depart- ment. She has a Bachelor of So- cial Work degree from Marygrove College. BBW's new Midwest Region, which encom- passes most of Michigan and northeastern Ohio, was formerly part of BBW District Six._ The establishment of the Midwest Region is part of a reorganization plan which is streamlining the struc- ture of Bnai Brith Women. Districts are being replaced by regions which act as field offices for the national or- ganization, increase service to chapters and reach down into the membership ranks for leadership potential.
