Tourism Soars
NEW YORK (JTA) —
About 120,000 Americans
visited Israel during the
first five months of 1978,
representing a 20 percent
increase over the same
period of 1977.
During this period traffic
from all countries increased
17 percent, auguring
another major year for Is-
rael's tourism industry, fol-
lowing on the record one
million tourists who vac-
ationed in the country in
1977.
