gation, and a youth lunc-

will end its year Sunday
with a father-son bowling
tournament and presen-

Looks at Nazis
The May issue of Medium
iii, published bi-annually in
place of Henry Ford High
School's Spotlight news-
paper, carried an article by
Shari Wenner entitled
"Nazism Grows in U.S."
The article highlighted
the Holocaust and the re-
cent upsurge of Nazi activ-
ity in America, including
Detroit.
Miss Wenner, 16, is a co-
editor of Medium iii, a
member of the National
Honor Society, the National
Journalism Society for High
School Students, the
school's band, orchestra,
volleyball and swim teams
and has won two music
scholarships to attend a
music program at Inter-
lochen.
She is a member of the
Bnai Moshe USY.
synagogue at 7:30 a.m. Pro-
ceeds from the group
bowl-a-thon will go to char-
ity. Steve Kideckel is group

Council Softball League

BBG Convention will
take place Thursday,

People." A total of 85
Michigan BBYOers will
attend the Convention. A
District 6 Adviser Train-
ing Institute will take
place simultaneously.

ing in this summer's BBYO
Israel Summer Institute, a
six-week study tour of the
state of Israel. The ISI in-
cludes a two-day orienta-
tion at the Bnai Brith
Perlman Camp in Starlight,
Pa., followed by work on a
moshav, a stay in the home
of Israeli youth, a field
school experience, 10 days
in Jerusalem and a tour of
the rest of the country, in-
cluding a trip to the Sinai.

that Robin Keila, daughter

been named the 1978 re-
cipeient of the Arlene Viv-
ian Moss Israel Scholarship
Award.
A member of Dora Sav-
age BBG for the past
three years, Robin has
been chapter reporter,
corresponding and re-
cording secretary and
recently was elected
chapter president. She
will attend the 23rd an-
nual BBYO Israel Sum-
mer Institute.
The award was initiated
in 1970-by Mr. and Mrs. Sol
(Ida) Moss in memory of
their daughter.
The Great Lakes AZA
and BBG Councils will hold
their annual installations
7:30 p.m. Monday at Adat
Shalom Synagogue. The
theme for the evening's
program will be "Looks Like
We Made It." The ceremony
will be hosted by Installa-
tion Co-Chairmen Marcy
Lichterinan of Disraeli BBG
and Roger Klein of Goode
AZA. Installing officers are:
Gail Shifman, past presi-
dent of the BBG Council,
