Rabbi Caminker and Cantor Karp are members of Detroit's Temple Israel and graduates of its religi- ous school. Rabbi Caminker was graduated 'from Michigan State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his five years of training for the rabbinate at Hebrew Union College, which included a year of study at its Jerusalem school, he served as a student rabbi at a number of synagogues, in- cluding Temple Bnai Israel in Petoskey, Mich., and Temple Beth El, Niagara Falls, N.Y.
